Every now and then, I analyze the Web site statistics for outsidelands.org and I’m amused to find people reading about western San Francisco from Trinidad & Tobago, Israel, or Kenya. Are these visitors to our site ex-SFers remembering their homeland? Or are they people doing a google search for “dog’s head on a stick” or “world’s best swimming horse?”
Yesterday our message board received a post from a Vietnamese pharmacist (in Vietnam) thanking us for our article about the old Bee Pharmacy that stood on Balboa Street.

Just kidding of course; I think it’s awesome that you’re generating interest all over the place!! I love how some people living in the Mission (for example!) wouldn’t think of being interested in the Ingleside (for example) but folks from Kenya are all about it!!
