Ingleside Terraces Book coming in 2011
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010In the fall of 2011, Outside Lands Media will publish a book to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the residential park neighborhood of Ingleside Terraces. Woody LaBounty, creator of the recently published book, Carville-by-the-Sea: San Francisco’s Streetcar Suburb, will be the author, along with help from current and past Ingleside Terraces residents and historians.
Formerly the site of the Ingleside Racetrack (1895-1905), the Ingleside Terraces neighborhood was developed by Joseph Leonard’s Urban Realty Improvement Company beginning in 1910, and features ornamental features including a Giant Sundial.
