My wife Nancy, who knows more about earthquake refugee cottages than the average jane, spotted one in the backyard of a client’s house recently.
Turns out this restored cottage was one we had looked at in late 2005 over in the Portola District. A couple saved it from demolition, restored it, and somehow got it into their backyard in the Haight.
